Hello, I’m a male member. Today I went on a date with a woman who was exactly my type. She was wonderful both in looks and personality, but I lost interest after encountering an unpleasant vaginal odor and couldn’t go through with it. It was my first time taking the bullet train and traveling all that way, so I’m disappointed. Have any of you ever been disappointed in bed because of sexual compatibility, body odor, or something similar?

I’ve had my share of “vaginal odor incidents,” too.

She had a cute face and a sweet personality, but her smell was really strong.

I’ve heard that people get used to their own scent and eventually stop noticing it.

It would be awful if you felt like throwing up every time you smelled yourself, so apparently our bodies are designed to get used to it.

Things like body odor or strong underarm odor can seem overwhelming to other people—in someone else’s car, for example—but the person themselves supposedly doesn’t notice it as much.

Even if I don’t notice my own bad breath or body odor, I make sure to take care of them so my papa-katsu partners won’t dislike me...

I’ve only had one similar experience myself, when I went to a lot of trouble to take someone to stay one night at Hotel MiraCosta, which cost ¥200,000. I said I needed to use the bathroom, washed up in the sink, and somehow managed to get through it.

There are quite a few issues with physical compatibility, including the infamous “Vaginal Odor Incident.” These days, my checklist has gotten so detailed that I often end up not being compatible with people. ^^

Yes, it has happened. I just counted, and I’ve encountered a “body odor incident” about 15% of the time—more often than I remembered...

Other than those incidents, I don’t think I’ve really been disappointed.
