I’m 45.

If I had a mature, glamorous look, I’d think there might be some demand for me, but since I look young enough that, even after having a drink with a few people, I’m told, “You were born in the Heisei era, right?” I don’t feel confident competing with women my actual age. That said, I’m not really in my 20s, so I feel that people looking for youth might also be disappointed. Do male members choose solely based on a woman’s actual age and her face/appearance? Even if it’s only temporary, the thought of putting my face online makes me anxious about the future. I’m posting here because I’m wondering whether, if I’m this unsure, I should go and ask in person if that’s an option.
