Staff members, don’t you find it suspicious when someone says during the interview that they’re doing this to pay off their student loans?

Back in my day, not many people used student loans, but now, when hiring new graduates, I get the impression that there are surprisingly many who do. It may be hard for us papas to believe, but even when I have drinks with university presidents, I hear plenty of information confirming that this is really the case. I think it’s safe to say that there are “an unbelievable number” of students repaying student loans. →That said, whether or not to help them financially is a separate issue.
