I’m a male member. Many men and women probably belong to various clubs, not just Universe, but “My Long-Legged Uncle” went under, so I suddenly had to write off the points I had deposited—the equivalent of Universe points. Did anyone else suffer any losses? I’m worried about what will happen to the men’s money and personal information, and to the women’s personal information, including their photos and videos.

I’m Basil, a male member. I don’t use any other clubs or sites, so I’m not particularly interested in them, nor are they any concern of mine. Still, I do feel the instability of online businesses. It’s a different field, but about 15 years ago, I believe Tower Records started a subscription music-streaming service. Thinking that this was the future, I got rid of my CDs—only for the service to shut down. I remember being devastated. These days, though, services from companies like Apple and Google are completely commonplace. Before long, even better services will come along. Keep up the good work, Universe.

I’m paper airplane, a male member. Until the day before I joined Univa, I had absolutely no interest in clubs or apps, so I don’t really know much about anything else. I suspect nearly half of the female members leave within a few months of joining. There also seem to be quite a few people who aren’t particularly interested in anything besides Univa—or in dating clubs in general.

I’m Meg, a female member. Oh no—that sounds awful. I really hope Universe continues making sure things like that don’t happen.
