If you happen to fall in love, and your feelings are serious, I’d want you to pursue that relationship. However, it’s not allowed while the person is still a staff member. The same applies even if the member has already left the club. We don’t know—or have any way to prove—when the relationship actually began, and if it came to light later, people would start making all kinds of assumptions. If a staff member falls in love with a member, they need to report it properly, resign, and then pursue the relationship. Even in that case, the clause in the employment agreement prohibiting romantic relationships—secret or otherwise—with members remains valid.
