As momo mentioned, from a man’s perspective, it’s more appreciated when a woman isn’t wearing perfume on a date.
If she is, it helps if it’s only a very subtle, natural amount.
When I can immediately smell strong perfume, I find myself holding back a little and wondering what kind of work she does.

I occasionally use DEOCO roll-on, which is said to give you the scent of a high school girl. It contains lactones.
Most of the time, I use Men’s 8x4.
The scent of fabric softener or hair treatment may actually make a better impression than perfume.
