I’m a male member whose membership is about to expire.
I’m currently continuing to see a woman I met through Universe, so I’m considering putting my membership on hold—or withdrawing if that isn’t possible.
However, I don’t know how long this relationship will last, and if it ends, I may want to resume my activities with the club if I still have the motivation to do so.
Would it be possible to rejoin the club after withdrawing? Also, are there many members who rejoin after leaving? (Is the screening process stricter when reapplying after withdrawing?)
Thank you as always for your continued support.
We’re delighted to hear that you’ve met a wonderful woman through Universe Club! If you don’t plan to continue using the service for a while, you also have the option of placing your membership on hold. ※Please note that you won’t be able to access the site during this period.
Even if you continue until your membership expires and then leave the club, you can rejoin later, and having a withdrawal history will not make the screening process more stringent. However, since the club’s rules may have changed during your absence, we ask that you attend another interview when rejoining.
We believe you’ve been using the service appropriately, but in cases where someone has had issues during their previous membership—for example, receiving a significant amount of negative feedback—we may decline their reapplication.
While I sincerely hope that your good relationship with the woman you’re currently seeing continues, I have to admit that I’d also be delighted if you chose to remain with us. This response was provided by Yukina Yuki Takeuchi from the Osaka branch.
