Are all women in the Black Class beautiful? Can someone become Black Class even if she isn’t particularly attractive, because she has a prestigious career or comes from a very privileged background?

Mamiya from Universe Tokyo, Chiba, answering your question! Women in the Black Class are truly beautiful and seemingly flawless. That’s what I’d like to say, but beauty is very difficult to define, and there are as many different standards as there are people, so it’s hard to make a blanket statement... As you said, having a glamorous career or coming from a very good family can certainly be valid criteria as well! It definitely appeals to men’s aspirational side, doesn’t it?! Sometimes I wish women were as easy to assess as A5-rank beef, but I think the rarer and more valuable someone is, the more likely they are to qualify for the Black Class. If I discovered STAP cells, I feel like even I could make it into the Black Class based on my looks alone. Ultimately, it’s a comprehensive judgment based on whether there’s sufficient supply and demand.
