Following up on my earlier post.

Since it sounds like the club only offers retakes about once every six months, I think you should ask them to reshoot your photos after that. Beforehand, practice posing in front of a mirror, then go in for the shoot. But honestly, unless you’re just nervous, your photos probably won’t turn out dramatically different, so the improvement may be minimal. Rather than blaming it on how you photograph, spend the next six months working on becoming more beautiful—especially by losing weight and slimming your face. Three years ago, she was slightly chubby with a round face, but now, at her third reshoot, she’s become incredibly beautiful. Her facial contours, hair, makeup, and figure have all improved so much that she looks like a completely different person, and it seems she’s receiving lots of offers. Fuu is currently making her an offer too. There are things you can make up for through effort, so keep working hard and become even more beautiful.

Reshoots are basically done after six months. Of course, if you ask, there are times when a reshoot can be arranged before the six-month mark—for example, when there aren’t many interviews and it won’t interfere with the club’s work. That said, it’s hard to say whether a reshoot after only about two months would really make much difference. I’d say it probably wouldn’t 99% of the time—which is precisely why reshoots are normally done after six months. However, if a new employee happened to conduct the interview in April, having a more experienced staff member handle the reshoot could potentially make a difference. Even so, in principle, the staff member who conducted the initial interview will do the reshoot as well, so I doubt the results would change much if it’s the same person taking the pictures. > Also, what kind of photos make you want to send an offer? If you’re confident about your figure, swimsuit photos can be effective. When someone is fully dressed, we do look at their figure, but their clothes make it difficult to see their body line clearly. So the main basis for judgment is usually their face. With swimsuit photos, however, their body line is clearly visible too, so I recommend them to women who are confident about their figures. That said, Universe isn’t a call-girl service, so swimsuit shoots are generally prohibited. The exception is when a woman brings her own swimsuit and asks to be photographed in it. In that case, we try to respect her wishes. > Whether or not girls receive offers is a matter of life and death for me, so I’m desperate. People may say that our level of desperation is different, but Universe is also doing everything it can. Some time ago, when we tried introducing women who had been flagged as problematic through a separate channel, we faced extremely strong resistance—people saying that if the women were moved there, they would receive fewer offers and that they didn’t want to hand them over. Still, I thought highly rated men should be given priority. That would encourage them to take care not to receive bad reviews from women, and the women would then have a better chance of meeting good men. It should have been beneficial all around, but these things are difficult. The staff on the ground are also working desperately hard. As for the audio, I think the staff simply aren’t taking it seriously enough. They seem to think that as long as the photos are attractive, offers will come even if the videos have no sound. That’s why I’ve repeatedly told them to monitor the sound through earphones or headphones while filming, but they don’t do it because it’s a hassle. As a result, we sometimes end up with videos that have no audio or are full of noise. That said, since April, the president has been pushing the employees hard, and we’ve moved to a system where everything will be checked more strictly going forward. Then we discovered in multiple branches that the microphone jacks on the cameras were broken—the connections were faulty, and touching the jack caused noise. So now we’re in a situation where everyone is asking, “How did you not notice they’d been broken this whole time? What is going on?” Audio problems should decrease from now on, but it still makes me sad to think that they probably aren’t wearing earphones while filming videos...

Personally, I’m not very interested in women who get new photos taken a few months after signing up. But if you’re not receiving any offers, there’s no point in being registered. Offers usually come pouring in when you first join. If you don’t take action, you won’t get anywhere. If you think your photos may not be flattering, try having them retaken. If you still don’t receive any offers after that, accept that you may not be at the required level and move on.

I mainly rely on videos, but if I’m not drawn in by the photos in the first place, I won’t move on to the video, so I think changing your photos is a good idea. That said, the best type of photo depends on the person, so as long as it highlights what you want to showcase, that should be fine. For example, if you have a great figure, use a full-body shot; if you’re into fashion, bring a few different outfits. However, if your photos look too carefully staged, people might feel that you’re difficult to approach casually.

A reshoot can improve the overall impression, but if she only registered in April, I feel it may still be a little too soon. I do look at photos, but in my case, I place more importance on videos. With photos, the impression can differ from what you expected depending on the angle and so on. With a video, I think there’s less of that kind of discrepancy. In any case, one of the advantages of a dating club is that the photos aren’t heavily edited, so there’s less of a gap when you meet in person. That’s why, in my case, I think standard, natural-looking photos are perfectly fine. *I’ve heard from a woman I met that videos can’t be viewed from the female members’ pages.
