I can’t help but think she’s just trying to make you jealous, right? From a girl’s perspective, that’s really the only explanation I can come up with (❤︎-...-❤︎).

There really aren’t many women in papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) who are okay with texting or talking on the phone regularly. Most take the attitude of, “I don’t get an allowance for that, and it’s a hassle, so please don’t,” so... Talking about papa-katsu is kind of taboo. Even if you want to talk about it, there aren’t many chances to do so. I mentioned it to my closest male friend once, and he was a little put off, lol. Maybe papas find it nice—or even fun—to have someone they can talk to. I can kind of understand how that papa feels, maybe? As for me, I get my “I want to talk about papa-katsu!” fix by writing with the respondents here and in my columns...

He’s actually on the phone while being intimate with another woman. That’s just his particular kink. ⑲ There’s nothing else to do in the taxi, so he’s bored and restless. ⑳ A taxi is a private space where there’s no risk of anyone besides the driver overhearing, making it the perfect place for a secret conversation. I could probably keep going, but there really is no end to it. To answer in Kazu’s place: “You’d have to ask that papa (a male supporter) to know.”

I’m not entirely sure, but maybe he’s trying to show off how popular he is? If “when he met the PJ” means they were together in the taxi, then I suppose that could be what he was getting at. Still, I don’t think most people would do that, so it probably just means he’s an unusual person.

I don’t call women unless it’s really urgent. It’s not something unique to men. It’s simply that person’s preference.

I have a monthly-arrangement partner who wants me to park my car in her boyfriend’s workplace parking lot and have sex with her while she watches her boyfriend, so I think your papa may have a similar fetish. My monthly partner couldn’t take a penetration situation, but the other day she was on the phone with her boyfriend while I was going down on her. She says she absolutely loves her boyfriend.

I never make phone calls at all. When you’re seeing one person, I think it’s normal to focus exclusively on her. Maybe he’s the type who prefers to keep things casual with lots of women. If so, he’d probably be happy if you showed interest in the other women he sees.
