If he contacts you, why not reply, “I haven’t received my monthly allowance since the payment for January, so please send it”? If you can think of a reason, it’s probably less that he forgot to pay and more that he’s ended the arrangement without telling you. Even if you keep messaging him, he likely won’t pay. Also, if you contact him only about the payment, you may end up shutting down any chance of reviving the arrangement.
