I’m Takahashi, a staff member.
Your membership information is managed and stored under strict security measures. The Universe Club members-only area uses a proprietary system and database, with communications encrypted via SSL (up to 256-bit encryption).
Female members’ profiles and photos are posted only on pages accessible to male members, so the general public cannot view them. We also require male members to sign a written pledge upon joining to ensure that no information is leaked.
You may register under a pseudonym, and it’s also possible to post photos without showing your face. In rare cases, notifications from the club or the contents of messages have been seen by others, so please take care when managing your notifications and communications.

According to Heidegger, the danger of nuclear power plants lies in having to manage them continuously. The same goes for information management—you’re better off assuming that maintaining flawless control over it is extremely difficult. That said, even if Universe Club mishandles its information, it probably won’t result in any deaths.
Incidentally, at the branch I belong to, the email addresses of every male member registered there were leaked. It was interesting in all sorts of ways (lol).

There’s certainly a possibility.
If you become a news anchor or entertainer, for example, the chances of being recognized would probably increase.
There’s also a nonzero chance you could be identified if a relative, such as an uncle, or your boss happens to be a member.
If you can’t accept that possibility, I don’t think papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) is for you.
The club manages personal information in accordance with privacy laws and has also received certification from external organizations, so the likelihood of a leak is low unless it’s hacked or something similar happens.
Rather than the information coming from the club itself, there’s a greater possibility that a male member might see you and think, “I’ve seen this person before,” leading to you being recognized.

If you’re aiming to become a TV network announcer, it might be something to worry about, but otherwise, I don’t think it should be a problem.
Personally, I’ve never had any concerns about how my personal information was handled.

If your identity gets exposed, you just have to own it. That’s how I see it, and I’ve made peace with that.
It’s not like you’ll end up with a criminal record or lose your life. If you shed a few tears and say, “A friend recommended it, so I signed up on a whim, but I haven’t actually met anyone. I swear!” people are usually pretty lenient with a young woman’s tears, so you can probably get away with it.
Better start practicing your fake crying.
