Whenever I see questions like this, I honestly think that if you can spend six hours doing intimate things with someone you find unbearable, you’d make more money working in the adult entertainment industry.
But if that would make your stomach hurt, isn’t that why you’re doing papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan)—so you can choose your partners and date them on your own terms?
If you’re not getting enough offers to be selective, you might be better off finding another way to make money.

You’re saying you have circumstances that make you endure things for the money.
You could simply say that the women who accept these situations are at fault, but when someone is financially struggling, lacks life experience, and gets pressured by an older man, I think there are more than a few women who end up accepting it.
When I had just started out on my own, some bad older men took advantage of me too. They paid poorly, made endless demands, and left me feeling completely fed up—I felt the same way you do.
Even so, I gave my all to the people who treated me well, earned their appreciation, and let them take care of me. As a result, I no longer had to deal with men like that, and now I can confidently turn them down.
It’s difficult to change other people, so you have to change yourself. There’s nothing good that comes from dealing with those bad older men, so rather than putting up with too much, it’s better to direct your energy toward people who will treat you better.
Being involved with men like that can pull you in a bad direction too. Maybe there’s some reason you can’t end things with him right now, but continuing to push yourself will only hurt you in the long run. Please take care of yourself.

If it were ¥100,000 for an hour or ¥600,000 for six hours, I might think, “Maybe I could put up with it just once.” But I’ve never been in that situation, so I really don’t know…
If I thought, “I can buy what I want with ¥600,000,” would I be able to tolerate it to some extent? I might want to try it once, just for the life experience.
That said, I don’t date anyone by forcing myself to endure things, so all I can say is: don’t put up with it.
Please value your own feelings and don’t push yourself.

How do you all manage to do it?
I assume you’re putting up with it for the money. But I also think there are women who date papas they don’t have to force themselves to be with.
I wonder which is more common at dating clubs. I’m curious.
By the way, the woman I’m seeing doesn’t seem like she’s dating me reluctantly—but maybe she’s just a really good actress…?

I can solve this in five seconds: if it’s painful, quit.
You’re in your twenties, so you may not think much about the long-term effects, but doing things that go against your wishes when you’re young can take a serious emotional toll.
Every now and then, take an old man’s advice. It’s much easier than taking a d*ck.

I can think of several possibilities.
- They only date people they don’t find unpleasant
When I hear about their partners, I often hear them say they ended things because they didn’t like the person.
- They have a wide range of acceptable types
When I hear about their partners, I often find myself thinking, “So they’re okay with that kind of guy?”
I also realized this from reading the complaints posted in the question box:
- They can put up with things for the money
I love money too, but your body—including your mental health—is your greatest asset when it comes to earning it, so I try not to forget that my health comes first.

You’re amazing for being able to continue with someone who causes you so much distress. You have my respect.
And not just with papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan)—I think it’s perfectly fine to choose not to do things you don’t want to do in life.

I think people either put up with it for the money, or they keep doing it because they genuinely enjoy the relationship.
I believe most of the respondents, myself included, fall into the latter category.
