Among my favorites, there’s one woman who was Standard when I first added her, but is Platinum now.
It feels like she’s really grown and improved through papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan).
You should probably assume that moving up a class is fairly rare.
Also, after moving up, the number of offers may decrease, so it’s not necessarily a good thing in every case.

I think classes most often change for the reasons Kazu-san mentioned.
Even if your class doesn’t change, becoming more attractive will likely increase the number of offers you receive. From a man’s perspective, it means he can make an offer at a lower rate than that class to a woman attractive enough to belong in a higher class. So regardless of whether you ultimately move up a class, I believe it could still benefit you.

If dieting dramatically changes your appearance and makes you look more attractive, you may be moved up a class when your photos are retaken.
On the other hand, women who have had obvious plastic surgery may be avoided by men, so they could actually be moved down a class instead.

If your “container” changes through dieting or plastic surgery, I don’t think your class will go up.
Your class will rise if offers start flooding in.

Gold is said to get the most offers, but if your appearance changes through plastic surgery and the staff find it off-putting, you might be downgraded to Standard.
That said, there are quite a few Standard men, so you can still receive offers at that level.
On the other hand, suppose you end up looking only halfway decent and get upgraded to Black. Black members are often unbelievably beautiful, so you may stop getting offers altogether.
What do you think?
Did you join the dating club to get plastic surgery, or to receive offers? Think carefully about which one it is.

I’m Potassium, a female member.
Come to think of it, I wondered whether I could find a question similar to yours in the old question box, so I searched around and found this:
https://universe-club.jp/help/questions/view/8729
I thought this might be the kind of answer you were looking for, but maybe I’m wrong.....
Just sharing it for reference.
※This is how I interpreted your question while searching through the question box:
“ If your appearance changes due to dieting or plastic surgery ”
I assumed you meant that your appearance had improved.
I interpreted the following part of your question at the URL above as:
→ “My appearance has changed quite a bit over the past year because I lost weight and had a makeover.”
“ Is it possible for my rank to go up? ”
I assumed you wanted to raise your rank because you weren’t satisfied with the number of offers. Normally, your class would only be raised without a reshoot if you were getting so many offers that they couldn’t all be handled. And I think you’d need to request a reshoot so the staff could see that your appearance had changed.
→ “Is it possible for my rank to be raised when I have a reshoot or something similar?”
Oh, I’m not saying anything about you personally. I just thought these past answers might be helpful in case your question didn’t get many responses, so I brought this one up.
If I read way too much into it, I’m seriously sorry.
I’m really not good at Japanese, after all.
I’m terrible at picking up on people’s feelings.
I only did this as a hobby, so this is a one-time thing.
I hope it helps, even just a little.

It’s not a rank—it’s a class.
Your class can change, but in most cases, it goes up because you receive too many offers.

> If the “vessel” changes
A vessel…?
Do you mean someone like Pinoko?
When BJ thought he couldn’t save Pinoko, he once created the eight-headed-tall body she wanted for herself.
> Through plastic surgery
People usually go too far with plastic surgery, and almost all the staff end up thinking, “This is awful… She looked better before.”
I feel that the only women who actually become more attractive through plastic surgery are those who can stop after so-called minor procedures. Other women often end up looking worse, to the point where I’d rather move them down a class.
Though I don’t, of course…
Incidentally, women who feel they’ve met a wonderful man without needing plastic surgery sometimes come back for a makeover and a new photo shoot.
In those cases, their class may be raised. But once a woman moves up a class, she receives fewer offers, so I’m not really sure what the questioner is hoping to achieve.
