That’s different from what I imagined. I was expecting things like stalking or being pressured to get divorced.
Since he’s married, that’s not possible anyway, so why not tell him from now on that he doesn’t need to do those things?
If what he’s said so far is enough for you to believe he’s serious, then I think it would be fine to end things.
He can always make an offer to someone else and look for a new woman.

Based on what you’ve written, I don’t think the woman had genuine feelings. It seems more like she was simply considerate.
I’m not sure whether it’s right to assume you fell for her because she did things other women didn’t, but at that level, it sounds more like it falls within the realm of simulated romance.

A bit anticlimactic.
That said, besides the act itself, there may be things he says along with it, which could make it feel more special.
Whether he’s serious or not, you seem like someone people are easily drawn to. Enjoy the pseudo-romance—just be a little careful.

This level of thoughtfulness seems only natural to me.
I suppose it depends on your age, though...
I feel sorry for women who were cut off by their papa after showing him genuine consideration and kindness.

Based on this post alone, it sounds like you may have just been a little full of yourself.
I mean, after being together for a long time, that would be pretty normal.
Unless she’s meeting your family, staking out your workplace, or going home with you, I think you might as well stay by her side and live out your lives together.
Maybe she was practicing taking care of you.

Hmm, in a case like this, I still wouldn’t call it a sign that she’s serious.
If she really were serious, she’d probably start involving third parties in your relationship and use all sorts of tactics to hint at her feelings, carefully closing off your escape routes one by one.
Especially if she sees you as “cautious and oblivious.”
Has she asked you to meet her parents or anything like that?
I think she’s treating you so kindly because she trusts you as a “safe and reliable papa (a male supporter).”
Don’t doubt such a kind papa-katsu girl. Just sincerely appreciate her and cherish her. I’m sure that’s what she wants, too.

You said that three women have treated you that way over the past 15 years. In my personal opinion, that’s not extreme at all. I was expecting something more like, “I love you so much it hurts,” followed by them cutting themselves, or them showing up at your home and refusing to leave until they met your wife.
Folding your clothes, doing your laundry, cooking for you, saying “Come over, I’ll make you dinner!” and so on… Women will do things like that for someone they really like. Of course, they wouldn’t do it for someone they dislike, but it’s still a perfectly ordinary expression of affection—nothing beyond what a hostess might reasonably do for a customer.
So I think you may be overthinking it. There probably wouldn’t have been any problem with continuing to see her as you were.

Hmm, I get the feeling the questioner is simply drawn to the caring, wife-like type.
If it’s lasted this long, there’s probably genuine affection there too, of course.

Women often say things like, “I can’t live without you, [Name],” once they become close.
Of course, you can’t really judge that from a written answer alone.
But if it’s only three women over 15 years, then assuming that’s the kind of relationship you have, I find myself thinking you might as well stay together until the end. That actually sounds pretty good to me.
If both of you maintain the kind of relationship described at the beginning, it may never really end.
