Lately, women have gotten smarter (lol), and more of them are answering with numbers like 3 or 5 for their monthly expectation.
Men make assumptions on their own and send offers thinking that amount is the allowance per meeting. Then complaints come in saying things like:
“It said her monthly expectation was 5, but she wanted 10 for a single meeting. Please read things more carefully.”
Men’s standards have really declined.
The club tells men when they join that it does not get involved in allowances, and we continue to say the same after they join.
So when they make assumptions on their own and then complain, it’s like, “What are you even talking about?”
Because it’s listed as a monthly expectation, they apparently assume that, at the very least, it must mean the allowance for one meeting. But that could be her expectation for dinner only, couldn’t it?

I’ll say it again: the club does not get involved in allowances.
We don’t list the women’s allowance amounts in their profiles either.
If people are going to misunderstand it, then perhaps we should get rid of the monthly expectation field altogether.

I was asked that at my interview too, but I was so clueless that I don’t even remember what I said（笑）. Looking back, though, I suspect they may also have been trying to gauge how well you understand yourself. If your self-assessment is too high compared with your actual profile, things probably won’t go smoothly…
From the questions I’ve seen, it seems they sometimes offer different amounts depending on the person, or indirectly mention “50” when turning someone down!
I asked the club on LINE before my interview, and they told me they don’t answer questions about the allowance.
