I was told I have a lot of discharge during sex. I have about three papas, and my period is due in about a week. I use condoms every time, but could it be an STI?

You can’t know anything without getting tested, and some conditions, such as candidiasis, can develop when your immune system is weakened rather than being transmitted by another person.

You should really get tested regularly in the first place! And if you have any concerns, make sure to go right away. Routine checkups are one thing, but if there’s any possibility something might be wrong, get checked immediately.
I recommend going so you can better understand how your body changes and what those changes might mean.

On their own, those details don’t tell us anything, of course. But if “the smell down there” and “Will I be cut off?” were posted by the same person, then anyone that worried should see a doctor immediately.
And, of course, they shouldn’t be intimate with anyone in the meantime. If the results come back positive, they should inform everyone they’re seeing.
