Maezawa from the CEO’s Office here. One person… If you limit yourself to just one papa (a male supporter), it may take time and be challenging, but I still think it’s possible to save 10 million yen. If your papa gives you a monthly allowance of 200,000 yen—meeting once or twice a month—it would take 50 months to reach that amount. That’s just over four years, so an arrangement like this seems fairly realistic. However, if your goal is to save money, having arrangements with five papas, each giving you 200,000 yen a month, would bring in 1 million yen monthly. That way, you could save 10 million yen in 10 months.

My friend had a monthly arrangement paying ¥400,000 for one or two dates a month, and kept it going for several years. Recently, she earned a qualification and her career started taking off, so it seems she’s stopped seeing men altogether. I’m sure she’s making well over ¥10 million now. Marika

I’m Aya, a female member. If you’re in an arrangement where you receive ¥150,000 a month, you can save quite a bit in six years. Even if you start at 23, you could save ¥10 million before turning 30. An allowance of around ¥150,000 a month isn’t that unusual, is it?

I’m Kamihikoki, a male member. Apparently, there are papas who pay 40 or 50 per meeting… sometimes for dinner only, and they can even be wonderful papas… If that’s the case, it might be possible.

I’m Kazu, a male member. It depends on how long you want to save and how much of your allowance you can put aside, but I think it’s possible. If you receive ¥200,000 a month in allowance and save it all, it would take 4 years and 2 months. If you receive ¥300,000 a month and save it all, just under 3 years. If you receive ¥500,000 a month and save it all, 1 year and 8 months. You’ll have to calculate the taxes yourself. That’s what I wrote, but I happened to feel like it, so I ran the numbers after deducting gift tax, assuming you receive no gifts outside of papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan). Receive ¥100,000 a month and save it all: 8 years and 5 months Receive ¥200,000 a month and save it all: 4 years and 4 months Receive ¥300,000 a month and save it all: 3 years and 1 month Receive ¥400,000 a month and save it all: 2 years and 3 months Receive ¥500,000 a month and save it all: 2 years Gift tax is pretty low, and there’s no resident tax either, so I’m honestly a little jealous.
