I’m Saito, a columnist♪ With Universe alone, I received offers from around 10 new people a year. (I was surprised myself to realize I’ve actually met quite a lot of people…) Including other services, it seems I meet around 20 people a year. I go on dates with fewer than 10 people a month. (So I only find about one woman a year who I continue seeing… That’s me, I guess.) As I wrote on my blog a while back, I’m enjoying my work so much that I’m completely immersed in it. Haha. Thanks to Nonta, I was able to take a good look at myself.

I’m だて◎ゆめ, a male member. In my case, I meet each woman twice a month. When we first started seeing each other, it felt like she was fitting me in between other things. After I gently pointed that out, she’s recently started making time for me herself. Since my relationship style is based on long-term financial support, I think she’s begun to appreciate the benefit of being able to receive reliable financial support, and that has probably changed her attitude and behavior as well. I wish I were young and handsome, but the reality is that I’m an old guy, so that’s the one thing they have to put up with. Given the situation, I’ve only made two offers this year. The club might decide I’m not profitable enough and raise my annual membership fee. (汗) If they do, I’m thinking of posting on this board, “This isn’t a question, but…” (笑)

I’m a lost soul in my 60s. I believe there have been similar questions before, but even then, I was surprised to see how often everyone goes on dates… I only see my partner once a month, and sometimes a whole month may pass without us meeting. I also feel a little bad that I pay an allowance on a pay-per-meeting basis rather than as part of a monthly arrangement, but we’re still continuing to see each other.

In my 30s and a new member Before joining, I realized that I was generally having meals or going out with women about twice a week—around 8–10 times a month, including my private life. I don’t have time for more than that because of work, but after joining the club, I started putting my private life on the back burner, and my schedule ended up being almost completely filled with club activities, haha. After joining, I was making offers to about four new women a month. However, with my limited time now taken up by dates with ongoing partners and offers to new ones, lately I’ve only been able to make about one new offer a month, if that. I feel like I’m not contributing much to the club’s revenue... In the future, if I part ways with my ongoing partners or see fewer people privately, I think I’ll be able to make many more offers to new women.

I’m Basil, a male member. Until a while ago, I met someone at least once a week. These days, it’s physically demanding, and I avoid weekdays, so once a week is the maximum. If I make one or two new offers a month, having two or three ongoing arrangements is plenty. If we don’t meet for two months, they usually realize what’s going on. When I first started, I’d make plans for the next date while we were together. These days, I just get in touch when I feel like it and make plans then.

I’m Seattle, a column writer. October was an exception—I attended a wine gathering and had dinner with a Type A woman, so I ended up seeing four people. Before that, I hadn’t even seen one person a month. I like spending long, meaningful stretches of time with the same person, so I suppose my number is relatively low. That said, supporting a lot of people would help Japan’s economy and contribute to the success of Universe Club, so I think that might be better.
