I’ve always dreamed of spending the night together. I haven’t met a woman willing to do that yet, though… Since I’m married, staying out overnight is difficult… But it’s still something I long for. What’s so appealing about spending the night together? Those with experience—or fans of it—would you share your thoughts?

I’m in my 30s and new here. This may be a different opinion from everyone else’s, but I wanted to share it anyway. I used to be intrigued by overnight stays and tried them several times. There are definitely things you can only enjoy when you stay over, but in the end, while putting food on my plate at the breakfast buffet, I often find myself thinking, “What am I doing?” A sense of guilt and emptiness tends to creep in—feelings I don’t have when we part ways at night. It may just be because of my personality, but I’ve come to feel that going home to my family and getting a good night’s sleep is ultimately what’s best for me. I’m the type who tends to worry about making women feel comfortable, so I’ll agree when I’m asked to stay over, but I’ve stopped actively suggesting it myself.

(I once went on a date during the World Cup final qualifiers, but it was tough because people recognized me.) I enjoy the feeling of traveling together, so trips are often three days and two nights, or four days and three nights. Getting cozy on the plane can be nice too, but lately we’ve been traveling separately more often, so I choose based on the type of aircraft rather than the airline. Being together for 24 hours can get a little tiring, so I think it’s a good idea to make some free time for each person.

I’m a male member from Seattle. I suppose it’s a place where you can enjoy the feeling of a romantic relationship. I can’t take things further until a certain level of trust has been established—trust strong enough that even seeing her without makeup wouldn’t change how I feel. I’m single, so I’m relatively easy to accommodate. But for the married members, who are probably the majority, I hope you’ll make an effort to create an environment and terms that are as safe as possible.
