I’m probably a bit overly self-conscious, but when I’m walking around town, I can clearly tell that men passing by are looking at the women I’m with.
You know, with that “Oh, she’s attractive” kind of look.
What scares me most is the way middle-aged women look at us—especially groups of two or three. To put it bluntly, just ordinary, everyday-looking women.
They give the woman I’m with hostile, almost combative looks.
Women really are women’s worst enemies.
Am I just imagining it?
Either way, they don’t seem to look at me—the man—very much.

I’m a male member, Basil.
As long as my partner isn’t bothered by it, I don’t particularly worry either, so I don’t let other people’s eyes affect how I act.
When it’s just having a meal or walking around together, you see couples with a similar age gap fairly often—including parents and children, or bosses and subordinates.
Of course, I avoid meeting in places where I usually spend my time, or being overly affectionate like a young couple.

I’m very self-conscious about being seen by others.
I make a point of avoiding walking whenever possible.
When we do have to walk in public, I try to keep a certain distance between us.

I’m Rula, a male member of UC and the new salon.
I do notice it. When we’re sitting at a restaurant, for example, I sometimes feel like some random middle-aged guy at a nearby table is staring intently at the woman I’m with… lol. I also notice men looking at her when we’re walking around town.
If I’m standing next to her and don’t exactly look the part, I feel bad that she has to be subjected to all those curious looks, so I’m doing my best to improve myself too.(^^)/
