If you haven’t heard from them for a week, there’s a good chance you weren’t accepted, I suppose… Though it’s also possible the staff are still taking time to prepare everything. After the interview, if you aren’t accepted, your information will be stored for a certain period and then disposed of, such as by shredding. However, since there’s always a possibility that the same person may apply again, we may sometimes retain certain verification data. It’s unfortunate that things didn’t work out, but I hope you find a good papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) arrangement.
