During the consultation, we explain that 7–10 days in advance is best. If it’s too last-minute, it may leave a bad impression, while if it’s more than a month in advance, their schedule may not have been released yet. From a coordinator’s perspective as well, I’d say 7–10 days ahead is ideal!

With a letter date, you can quickly discuss the earliest day you’re both available to meet, so it’s common to meet the next day or two days later.
It’s also easy to arrange things when the meeting is a week or two away.

I guess it really comes down to timing. Since same-day offers can be a hassle for the staff, it’s probably best to make it a letter date and negotiate the details yourself.

As a female member, I personally appreciate receiving offers sooner rather than later. It gives me time to adjust my work schedule, choose an outfit, decide on my makeup and hairstyle, and get everything ready.
That’s just my personal opinion, though.

Since every woman’s availability depends on her schedule, it’s best to ask her to suggest a day that works for her when you make the offer.
