Have any of you ever paid attention to your partner’s zodiac sign?
I’ve never really believed in fortune-telling or horoscopes, but when I make a new offer, I look up the other person’s horoscope (including personality guides and such) because I want to understand them even a little better.
This is only based on my limited experience with offers—16 people in total over the past year and a half—so I don’t think it has any statistical significance. Still, things went well with the Libras I met: one arrangement lasted a year, and two lasted seven months (one of those is still ongoing). On the other hand, there were two Scorpios who accepted my first offer but things didn’t continue smoothly afterward. I also usually have about ten people registered as favorites, and six of them are Geminis.
There is also one Cancer woman who has continued seeing me for over a year.
I’m a Gemini myself. I make offers based on the feeling that “I think I’d get along well with this person.”
But at some point, I started avoiding Scorpio women solely because they were Scorpios.
As for the people I make offers to, they’re generally in the S-to-B range, with no A types; the others are in roughly equal proportions. The allowance usually starts at 80,000 yen pay-per-meeting, except for one person whose personality was extremely tricky (60,000 yen).

When I’m thinking about making an offer, I check more than just her zodiac sign—I look into various things beforehand.
It’s not that everything matches perfectly, but I enjoy checking while getting a general sense of her personality and whether it seems reasonably accurate（笑）
Once we meet, I get completely absorbed in the young lady in front of me, while being coached with comments like, “Date-san! Mood! Mood!”—and we have a great time（笑）

Saint Seiya brings back memories~
Come to think of it, I used to envy people with other zodiac signs because the Gold Saint for my sign wasn’t all that cool lol. That’s about the only connection I have to zodiac signs, though lol.
Still, I don’t mind when women are into fortune-telling, zodiac signs, blood types, and that kind of thing lol.
Destiny and fate are romantic, so I’m happy to play along lol.

I’ve rarely thought that the person I’m dating was exactly as their zodiac sign and blood type would suggest. But I myself generally fit the typical traits associated with mine, and people I’m with often seem to see me that way too.
So if you read one of those zodiac-and-blood-type guides online or in a book, I’m probably fairly easy to handle.

Horoscope
If you feel it’s accurate, I think it’s entirely up to you whether you choose to believe in it.
That said, based on my own experience, I’ve never felt that horoscopes were actually accurate.
For starters, whenever I hear people talk about zodiac signs, I can’t help thinking of the Gold Saints from *Saint Seiya*. lol
In that sense, I do feel a little sorry for people who are Cancers.

There really are some sweet people who believe in astrology.
What can you actually learn from someone’s star sign? You can’t tell anything from something that vague.
If you’re curious, perhaps looking at their Four Pillars of Destiny, Western astrology chart, blood type, tarot cards, and even their parents might give you a slightly more accurate picture.
You’re over 70, so are you looking for someone you can dote on like a grandchild? Or are you offering to women closer to your own age? Is this genuine romance, or do you simply want to help someone who’s struggling? I imagine there could be various reasons.
You won’t become close if you only think about dating someone and having them accommodate you. I hope you meet someone who’s willing to meet you halfway.

Based on my own dating experience, I used to think I was incompatible with women who have type B blood.
At the club, I went for about a year without making an offer to anyone as soon as I saw she was type B.
But after looking through their profiles, I found so many type B women who were incredibly attractive that I couldn’t resist anymore.
So I decided to treat romance and club activities as separate things and made an offer to a type B woman…
In the end, I had such a great time that I wondered why I’d ever worried about it. After that, I stopped paying attention to blood types.
I think the best thing for you, too, is not to overthink it.

I also have a bit of a thing about Scorpio women because I’ve had some bad experiences in the past.
I might feel the same way about women born in the Year of the Tiger. Scorpions and tigers just sound scary from the image alone—and in reality, they’re scary too…
I also don’t get along with Type B or AB people. Then I found out that the woman I’m currently making an offer to is Type B…
They say zodiac signs and blood types don’t matter, but don’t they matter a lot? I’ve never met a Type B person with any sense of cooperation.
Anyway, I’m not good with scary women. Women who start using rough, masculine language when they get angry, or who are constantly resentful or jealous—I absolutely can’t deal with them. Why are they always so angry…?
If I were surrounded by intimidating guys from an organized crime group, I’d be perfectly fine. But if there’s even one scary woman, I’d run away.
That said, the women I’ve had long-term arrangements with are the ones who clearly express their opinions. When they look me in the eye and speak calmly and seriously instead of getting angry, it really hits me, and I genuinely reflect on my behavior.

Zodiac signs are convenient because they give you a rough idea of someone’s birth month. You can ask about preparing a birthday present.
By the way, I don’t believe in horoscopes, blood-type personality readings, palmistry, gods, Buddha, Allah, ghosts, stigmatized properties, the afterlife, lucky charms, or jinxes. None of them are possible or actually exist.

I once found the Universe survey question “Why did you choose her?” after making an offer so hard to answer that I just put “Because of her zodiac sign.” Then a staff member wrote in a column, “Apparently, there are also some romantic men who choose women based on their zodiac signs.” I wanted to bow so deeply in apology that my head would come out the other side of the Earth in Brazil.
And yet, it turns out there really are people who do that…
Still, I’m pretty sure it’s just a coincidence. Apparently, the dates for zodiac signs shift from year to year. So there are women whose zodiac signs change every year depending on their birthday—it’s kind of like the Alsace region in “The Last Lesson,” isn’t it? Then she said, “That’s why I can’t trust horoscopes,” and those words really hit home. They’ve stayed with me ever since.
A Scorpio woman? Nothing wrong with that. You only dislike her because Kenichi Mikawa’s song is buried in your subconscious. You know, the song about a devoted, emotionally unstable woman.
But times have changed. The Showa era is over. Since you’re still able to keep your energy up, let’s enjoy the modern age.(^^)
