That’s me. When you put it that way, I don’t feel entirely sane, to be honest. There are risks in all sorts of ways. But I enjoy pushing things right to the limits of what’s possible. My allowance is neither high nor low—just average. Still, five out of a thousand is important money to me, so I can’t afford to waste it. It’s an important five. That’s why I want it to be treated with care, but there are hardly any women who do.

Annual income doesn’t matter. What matters is how much he can give his PJ as an allowance. I’d consider a papa earning ¥10 million a year who gives an allowance of ¥60,000 more gentlemanly than a papa earning ¥100 million who only gives ¥50,000.

I think he’s probably sane. He may have a lot of assets, be looking for someone he only meets once a month, or be part of a dual-income household with nearly ¥10 million in annual income at his disposal. Since we don’t know his circumstances, I don’t think we can judge from that alone whether he’s being unreasonable. Also, judging by the way you describe yourself, there may be people who are fine with an allowance of ¥30,000, so perhaps supply and demand can work out after all.
