Are all the respondents on this Q&A site fairly down-to-earth compared with other male members? Looking through the answers, I get the impression that a lot of them are pretty stingy.

I’m pretty down-to-earth myself. That said, not everyone with a high income dines at expensive restaurants. They only go to those kinds of places when they need to entertain clients or for similar reasons. Also, expensive doesn’t necessarily mean delicious. There are certainly restaurants that are both pricey and excellent, but plenty of places are expensive simply because you’re paying for the setting.

Flag, exactly! They won’t spend even a single yen on something whose value they can’t see, but they can invest boldly in things that seem likely to bring future returns. I get the impression that many successful business owners think this way too. Once you learn to recognize that potential in yourself, I think more papas will want to invest in you. It’s me.

I’m just a humble commoner who can’t bring myself to buy spinach or broccoli once they cost 200 yen or more. I’m a poor man who’s been kicked out of his home by his wife, who tells me, “You have no reason to exist. If you’re not going to do anything, get out,” and treats me terribly…

I’m probably by far the lowest earner among the answerers here—which also means I could be called the stingiest. But based on my own experience, I don’t think truly wealthy people are genuinely stingy. They’re not cheap; they’re simply very discerning about money. They won’t spend on things they don’t see any value in. But when something is valuable, they can spend generously. They pay where it matters. I believe they become wealthy because they understand the value of money. A wealthy person who is careful with money is completely different from someone who has no money and is simply cheap. If you don’t understand that distinction, you’ll miss all kinds of opportunities—so keep that in mind. The person asking this question has already misread the situation.

By coincidence, I also dislike women who are stingy. For example, women who take forever to take their panties off. I find myself thinking, “Don’t be so stingy.” That said, in my case, I’m not exactly well-endowed, so I’m the one who takes forever to take mine off. The other day, a very busty woman told me, “Don’t be stingy—take your panties off,” and I was secretly grinning to myself. One piece of advice for the questioner: the one word we papas never want to hear is “stingy.” Please banish it from your vocabulary. Whether we’re wealthy or not, there’s absolutely nothing good that can come from saying it. Of course, you’re free to think it to yourself.

I’ve been fairly successful in my career, but as you said, in this world I’m still just an ordinary person. I can’t help but focus on getting good value for my money.

In my case, I’m definitely a down-to-earth, ordinary guy. I’m not exactly cut out to be a nobleman(笑) I’m stingy, but if you noticed that about me, you must be pretty stingy yourself(笑)

If by “down-to-earth” you mean income level, I’m a systems engineer in real life, so my income is nothing special. Though I’m not technically a company employee. I don’t have any connections with the other respondents, so I don’t know anything about them.
