I was thinking that if things are more active outside Tokyo, I might get more offers if I say I’m willing to travel to other areas instead of limiting myself to Tokyo!

It’s not that things are more active outside the major cities, but if you mention that you’re available to meet in regional areas, you may receive offers from there too.
That could lead to slightly more offers overall.
If traveling to regional areas isn’t a problem for you, I think it would be a good idea to note that you’re open to it.

I think you’ll get more offers if you expand the areas you’re willing to travel to. I hear women fairly often mention traveling to distant locations for meetings. It probably varies from woman to woman, but I’d say around 10–20% of their offers come from branches outside the one where they’re registered.
