I’ve seen the request about the “pay upfront” rule, but I always hand over the allowance after the meal.
It’s not like I’m so absent-minded that I’d forget to give it to her, and no woman has ever brought up transportation costs with me either.
If someone says they forgot to give it, they’re definitely doing it deliberately.

At Universe, the rule for a first date arranged through Universe Setting is that the papa gives you a thank-you payment called “transportation expenses” during the meal, so I think it’s something like being paid in advance.
Since it’s given during the meal, it’s not after the meal is over. You’ll generally receive it at the beginning, or at least before the meal ends.
If the meal is over and you still haven’t received anything, try bringing it up like this:
“I heard from the club that I would receive 5,000 to 10,000 yen…”

With Universe Club arrangements, transportation money is given before the meal. I think it would be best to bring it up by saying, “I heard the club provides the transportation money upfront.”
