A thought after reading the previous question: It’s pretty common to be taken to a papa’s favorite restaurants, right? When that happens, the staff often ask me things like, “Where did you meet such a young girl?” Whenever that happens, I almost end up saying, “Through a dating club,” but when I checked with my papa (a male supporter), he told me not to mention the dating club.

I’m Aya, a female member. Whenever someone asks my papa, “Where did you meet such a beautiful, respectable woman?” he jokes, “We met through work! I’ve got a network of girls I know during the day too, you know. It’s not all about nightlife!!” I think that’s because he’s often out drinking in Roppongi or Ginza, but he definitely doesn’t give off any dating-club vibes. To most people, a dating club is just like, “What’s that?” They wouldn’t understand even if you told them. Telling the whole truth isn’t always the right thing to do.

Even the friendly staff at my regular darts bar—guys in their early twenties I occasionally play darts with—don’t pry and ask, “You’ve got a different girl with you every time, huh?” lol So basically, if someone from the establishment asks, it’s because the man wants them to ask. In other words, he’s a pathetic, vain creep. He wants to show off to someone, but he’s embarrassed to be found out for using a dating club. That makes him the biggest cowardly creep of them all. It’s not that he wants to hide using a dating club because he’s ashamed of it. In this case, he’s hiding it because he wants to show off. I mean, you can figure that out just from the vibe, can’t you? lol
