Thank You to the Female Member in Her 50s

To the female member in her 50s, thank you for posting because you were concerned about me. I’m currently discussing the matter with my lawyer. When I was young, I lost my mother to illness, and my father, who was stationed in New York by a certain bank, was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Since both of my parents were only children, I was raised by my grandmother. However, she has also passed away, and I am now completely alone in the world. As you pointed out, I work for a famous company that every Japanese person would recognize. I joined a dating club because I wanted to pay off my student loans as quickly as possible. Ever since then, I’ve continued to feel terrible. At times, I’ve even been overcome by the urge to die, but somehow I kept going with my work and daily life. Then, when I read your post earlier, I felt so comforted and warmed, as though I were speaking one-on-one with a counselor. It truly helped heal my heart. Thank you so very much. I was also deeply moved to learn that there are other female members who, like me, use such polite language. People can hurt one another, but at the same time, people can also heal one another. I was reminded of that so strongly. For someone as serious and earnest as me, I feel you also taught me that it’s important not to be overly affected by every opinion, but to learn to let some things go. I will read your message carefully and give it a lot of thought. As you said, I believe taking care of my mental health is important as well. I haven’t been able to sleep at night since then, so I’ve made an appointment with a psychosomatic medicine clinic for next week. It may only be a temporary measure, but I’ll talk with the doctor and hopefully receive medication that will ease my mind and help me sleep.
