Question about ratings after a date.

I believe the message only gets passed along when you ask the staff to let the other person know that you liked them. In that case, the staff will tell them.

Will the other person be able to see the rating I left, whether it was positive or negative? I don’t think they’ll be shown the rating itself, but if you include detailed comments, there’s a chance the other person may read them. If you have a complaint, I think you should discuss it with the staff. If they did anything that violated the rules, be sure to report it.

Normally, it won’t be shared with the other person. There are two situations in which it can be. The first is when you report a problem and select “Yes” in response to “If there is a problem, may we confirm the facts with the other person?” The second is when you select “Yes” to grant permission to publish your feedback. In that case, whatever you wrote under “Other comments about your date” will be made public. Neither your name nor the other person’s name will be included, but if you write something specific enough to identify the people involved, the other person may happen to see it and realize it’s about them. So if you give permission for publication, you need to understand that what you wrote in the “Other comments about your date” section will be posted exactly as written. That’s why, on the questionnaire, I write a general impression suitable for publication, and send the staff a separate, more detailed set of comments.
