I’m just a servant to my PJ. I butter her up (in other words, offer her a generous allowance) so she’ll spend time with me.

It depends on how you define “important,” but I imagine some of the respondents here are considered or described by those around them as “important people.”
There’s quite a difference between an “important person” and someone who merely acts important, but I’ve rarely met an important person who comes across as arrogant.

I think people who run companies or make a ton of money are truly impressive, but… are you making money without relying on anyone, Questioner?

I’m a graduate of a high school that wasn’t exactly known for high academic standards.
But hey, I’ve managed to get into papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), so that’s pretty impressive, right? lol
I only have one woman I’m seeing, but we’re close and have been together for four years now.

I’m not really following how this connects（笑）
If we’re talking purely about Japan’s university entrance偏差値, Science III at the University of Tokyo might be the highest. But the University of Tokyo isn’t ranked at the very top globally, and in a world where plenty of people have master’s and doctoral degrees—not just bachelor’s degrees—being a University of Tokyo graduate with a bachelor’s is hardly something to brag about. Besides, being good at studying doesn’t automatically make someone extraordinary in the real world. Of course, they must have worked incredibly hard, and that’s impressive, but as a fun fact, I’d say it’s about on the same level as making it to Koshien in high school baseball.
I know someone whose boss always introduces him by saying, “This guy came first in the Sundai mock exam!” It made me chuckle more every time I heard it, so I loved it. He’s a University of Tokyo graduate, but I thought this made him much more memorable and entertaining.
