Even if it’s not right at the beginning, I get the impression that these are people who tend to include phrases like:
“Is that so?”
“Would that be the case?”
“Do you…?” (Do you come? Do you do it?)
Depending on the surrounding context, even the same wording can make it possible to tell whether they’re genuinely troubled and looking for advice, or merely asking for the sake of asking and would accept any answer—in other words, just seeking attention.

True, that does seem to be a bit of a habit.
I guess they want to insist that their post is a question.
But where does this idea that their post deserves to be published come from? Maybe it’s based on some past success, haha.
