I think most people are probably rated ★3. If someone has ★4 or ★5, I’d assume there’s a reason or purpose behind not hiding their rating, which might actually make me less inclined to pursue them. Lately, I feel like there are more women with ★4 or ★5 ratings too. Since there are both pros and cons—like it becoming obvious that they receive offers and leave a good impression on many men—I’m not sure which is better. Is the idea to make it easier for men to send offers? If you want to play it safe and avoid making a bad choice, go for ★4 or ★5. If you’re looking for an ongoing, mutually beneficial arrangement, choose ★3. Is it meant to help people narrow things down based on their style? Also, if they ask men to complete a survey every time, couldn’t this happen? What if a man doesn’t give a high rating to a woman he really liked, but gives a perfect score to someone he didn’t care much about because it doesn’t matter to him? Wouldn’t that mean the genuinely good women stay at 3 points forever, while less popular women end up with perfect scores?
