When I arranged a meeting with a woman I’d made an offer to at our first meeting, I was told she would call me when we met up. I naturally assumed it would be from a blocked number, but apart from one person, none of them called anonymously. Does that mean they’re all good people?

Someone calling from a blocked number isn’t necessarily a bad person. It simply means they’re very cautious. You could also say they’re not used to this yet.

Even if you call with your number visible and the other person turns out to be unpleasant and starts harassing you with calls afterward, it’s not much of a problem since you can block unwanted calls. I think that’s less because people are trustworthy and more because a phone number isn’t as sensitive personal information as your address or a photo of your face. Marika

I seem to remember being told when I joined that some women might call with their number withheld, but I’ve never had a woman call me that way. I can’t say whether being upfront about your number means someone is a good person, but every woman I’ve made an offer to and met has been wonderful.

If the caller is withholding their number, you have no idea who they are or where they’re calling from. I think it’s fine to ignore them as well. Rather than whether they’re a good or bad person, they should obviously say, “It’s me.”
