Your message comes across as desperate, and, if you don’t mind me saying so, it also suggests a lack of planning—making me think, “That’s probably why you ended up running out of money.”
If you really have no money left, you’ll have no choice but to seek assistance from social services. After reflecting seriously on what happened, please work hard and earn an honest living.

If you say you have absolutely no money, they’ll see you as vulnerable and say something like, “I’ll cover your living expenses, so I’ll transfer the money—tell me your bank details next time.” Then they’ll use you for free a few times and disappear.
Don’t assume that saying you have no money will make them feel sorry for you and give you a lot. You’ll only get deceived, so never say that.
Instead, you’d probably get that man to make a move if you told him, “You appeared in my dream, and when I woke up, I was surprised to find I was really wet down there.”

I’ve never had a relationship deepen after being asked for money outside the usual allowance, so I have no idea.

Instead of bringing up money, I think you should simply invite her on a regular date…
There’s absolutely nothing to gain from telling a man that you have no money at all.
He’ll just see you as someone he might be able to persuade into a low-cost adult relationship.
