I’m quite hairy and want to start going to a hair-removal salon, but there are so many options that I don’t know which one to choose. Can anyone recommend a good salon?

I’m Fuu, a column writer. Based on what my monthly-arrangement partners have said, medical hair removal at a clinic seems to be the better option. Hair-removal salons are apparently cheaper, but I’ve heard from people who said it was a mistake because their hair started growing back after a few years.

I’m Aya, a female member. With medical hair removal, the hair will barely grow back after about 5–10 sessions. Personally, I feel that clinics in the Ginza and Shibuya areas offer many reasonably priced plans, perhaps because of the intense price competition.

If you barely have any body hair, a salon is fine, but if you’re very hairy, medical hair removal is the only real option. With salons, you might as well be throwing your money away.
