If your standards are the same as—or close to—those of other men, then it’s only natural to assume that a woman you decide to make an offer to will also receive offers from other men, meaning she’s popular.
A popular woman is probably someone you personally feel you absolutely want to date.
If you want to date someone who isn’t popular, choosing a woman you feel you absolutely wouldn’t want to make an offer to would increase the chances of finding one.
But that’s contradictory, isn’t it?
So I think it’s best to pursue women you like while assuming they’re already popular.

She’s a wonderful woman, so I don’t worry about whether she’s popular with other guys.
If that bothers you, don’t date her. That kind of attitude is a burden to her.

I’ll exclude “being exceptionally attractive” from the answer, since otherwise it wouldn’t really answer the question.
◎ Women who are a little vulnerable and naturally close with people
That would be my answer.
I know it’s incredibly presumptuous of me, being nothing more than a cockroach, but one of my relatively new monthly arrangements is with a girl who isn’t particularly attractive.
The moment I met her, I thought, “Huh? She looks different from her photos.” But later, when we had an adult relationship (intimate), I was completely won over by how close and affectionate she was, and she naturally settled into a monthly arrangement.
She’ll steal a kiss whenever she gets the chance during pillow talk, or happily give me oral sex when we take a bath together. She’s exceptionally good at playing the role of a girlfriend.
Girls like that are popular, aren’t they? Though she did say that several of her former papas (male supporters) became genuinely obsessed with her, and she ended up in some dangerous situations.
