I’m a male member—and honestly, one of the losers. Saying “there aren’t any” may be an exaggeration, but women like that are extremely rare—practically nonexistent. Aya’s answer is exactly right. With more women taking up papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) during the pandemic, it’s become a buyer’s market and the going rate for allowances has dropped. So getting 100 a month is probably just a fantasy. To begin with, there isn’t a woman I’d want to give 100 a month to. There are plenty who are attractive, but I wouldn’t pay 100 a month based on looks alone. Looks might justify up to 50 a month. The remaining 50 would have to come from qualities other than appearance, which makes 100 a month far too difficult.

I’m Aya, one of the female members. If a woman has a regular job, I think it’s almost impossible. Most women do have regular jobs, so only a minority live solely off papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan). Think about it. Even if you had several papas (male supporters) who paid an efficient ¥50,000 per pay-per-meeting arrangement, you’d need to meet someone and go to a hotel every day for 20 days a month just to make ¥1 million. You also have your period, plans with your boyfriend or friends, and your mental and physical limits. Realistically, that’s impossible, right? Some people might think, “Then why not just meet ten times a month for ¥100,000 each?” But there aren’t many papas who pay ¥100,000 per meeting, and those who do generally don’t meet the same woman ten times a month. They tend to have several women they pay ¥100,000 each and limit each relationship to once or twice a month. So even with three such papas, you’d max out at around ¥600,000. Also, papas who pay ¥100,000 per meeting tend to switch to a monthly arrangement fairly quickly with women they want to see more than ten times. Most papas in this financial bracket tend to give around ¥300,000 a month, or ¥500,000 at most, when they move to a monthly arrangement, so it’s extremely rare for the amount to suddenly become ¥1 million. That’s what I’ve learned from watching women who have been in long-term arrangements, as well as others in the same papa-katsu scene. There are certainly exceptions, but I think this is a general trend.
