Please make the woman enjoy herself before giving her a substantial allowance.
The idea that “it’s fine to offer a low allowance because the woman is satisfied” honestly disgusts me. That’s what you call “taking advantage of someone’s vulnerability.”

I’m glad you seem to have found your own way to enjoy things. Bragging about getting things cheap is up to you, but from the women’s perspective—or objectively speaking—the women aren’t being misled or secretly left dissatisfied, are they? Also, this is somewhat similar to female members bragging about receiving a high allowance, but clubs don’t like male members boasting about paying low amounts. There are three to five times as many female members as male members, and when it comes to recruiting women, the strongest marketing message is, “You can meet a wonderful papa (a male supporter) and make a lot of money.”
As for whether I have my own unique way of doing things, the answer is yes when it comes to “unique,” but no when it comes to “a way to have fun.” It may not be a serious relationship, but you become close enough to do things together at one point in your life that you wouldn’t do with anyone else, so I wouldn’t call it merely “playing around.” The allowance may end up being low or even zero, but that’s an issue between the woman and me—it has nothing to do with the going rate. There may be some generally applicable basics to the approach, but what matters is how both people feel. I don’t think there’s any universal formula for making things work.
If you want to brag about paying low allowances, you should do it on your own blog or somewhere like that. I’ve seen male members who do this, and I actually followed one avidly for a while myself. Men who are new to this are all interested in that kind of thing, so you might be able to attract quite a few visitors. I went through the whole process myself and eventually formed my own views, so I no longer read those blogs, but there are plenty of beginners, so I think you could still get decent traffic.

Still, I was surprised that it was only around ¥7.5 million—less than I make. Sorry for the humblebrag… Maybe he’s single and doesn’t have any hobbies? Or is papa-katsu his hobby?
