I’m not sure it’s wise to expect much from the food at a love hotel. Some love hotels do put a lot of effort into their meals, and the photos can look delicious.
Apparently, there are even love hotels that serve handmade breakfasts prepared with care by the owner.
Still, I don’t think it’s a good idea to have overly high expectations of love-hotel food.
When two people are really into each other, even a mediocre meal can taste delicious.
It might be safer to bring in whatever food you like.
This reminds me of a story from a column:
“He said, ‘I’ve prepared something amazing, so look forward to it,’”
but all he had prepared was a salad.
