I’m not sure what you’re using as the standard for image quality, but we use some very expensive cameras and lenses, so the quality should be quite good.
That said, the resolution of the photos on the members’ page is reduced quite a bit. So if we’re judging purely by resolution, I suppose the image quality is on the poorer side.
I’ve heard that other dating clubs don’t differ much in terms of resolution either.
That being the case, thanks to our camera equipment, the image quality should be high in ways other than resolution.

The original photos may show pores in some cases.
At the moment, we’re using an exceptionally good lens. In fact, I can only think of one lens that’s better than this one—assuming we’re talking about the same mount.
It’s probably the second-best lens in the world.
I’d like to try introducing that lens too, but since the resolution on the members’ page is low, I feel like increasing the quality of the original photos wouldn’t make much difference.
I doubt there’s another dating club that’s this particular about its cameras and lenses.
By the way, a little while ago, I suggested to President Kida that we increase the size of the photos on the members’ page.
He said, “Then submit a proper proposal. You can’t approve something based only on ‘Let’s make them bigger.’ You need to explain how much slower the display time would become, what benefits increasing the size would have, and so on. Isn’t submitting that kind of proposal the normal thing to do?”
It was an entirely reasonable point.
I keep thinking I need to put one together soon, but I haven’t had the time...
I’d like to make the photos bigger soon—big enough to show pores, maybe... Well, not quite that big. Ideally, I’d like to make them about twice as large vertically and horizontally as they are now.
Of course, quadrupling the data size would slow down loading, so I’ve also wondered whether increasing them by about 1.4× in each direction—roughly doubling the total size—might be the limit before the display speed is affected.
But then again, 1.4× feels a little underwhelming...
I really do want to go with 2×.
That’s the dilemma.（笑）
