There’s a 10-year age gap between me and my papa—do you think that’s not much of an age difference for a “universe” arrangement? I’m 25 and my papa is 35. People sometimes stare when we’re walking together—do we give off a papa-katsu vibe? He usually wears a regular business suit, while I mostly wear dresses. He’s been married for three years and has children, so I do think he seems quite mature for his age.

We’re both around 50, though (lol).

A papa (a male supporter) who’s 35—that’s pretty young.

But there’s a chance his papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) vibe is showing.

It’s perfectly normal for people to glance at you occasionally, even when you’re just a couple around the same age walking together. What exactly is bothering you?

I don’t think you need to worry about it too much.

If someone actually says something like “papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan),” then I think it would be worth looking into at that point.
